Hanan Al Shehab writes: Important teaching strategies
In order for you to teach or to train effectively you’d have to have a solid knowledge about how students act and perceive information. It can be a really complicated job having to juggle several tasks all at once to reach a goal. Luckily there are several methods and principles that can be followed for it to be slightly easier for you to balance and implement training students effectively. There a lot of strategies that a teacher can use to balance both his students needs and his goals.
Each individual is different. Every person has a different personality and each personality needs to be treated differently. Differentiation is one of the strategies; it is when you put several teaching ways on one lecture (visual aids, computers, notes, etc.) put on different teaching and learning styles). Time management and arrangements, divide your time and arrange your plans effectively to reach both your students and your school’s goals. Your job does not only train students subjects but as well preparing them for life after school. Last but not least and mainly mutual support. A student well implements effectively with his teacher’s support. Delegate your students (role play) rewarding an individual will give him great expectation of success, and by that I do not mean gifts, positive words will do the job just as quite. This is positive reinforcement.
These strategies and principles might look small but have a powerful impact in this kind of field; it is actually used in career fields, from business, medicine and teaching. These are the right ways for you to play a role not just as an active and successful trainer but a leader to the new generation of millennials.
