The Effects of Parents on Children’s Learning

Children are fundamental to the future of any society, because they hold the key to develop, to change, to build, and in turn a successful future in their hands .Therefore, it is society’s duty to provide them with a strong education that enables them to be a successful member in their societies. on the other hand Parents have to know how to question what in front of them, and how to be catalysts of change.

Children start to learn from their parents and from what they engage with in the first few years. The knowledge they acquire in those few years will affect the rest of their lives, because they build a personality, this personality in its role will be part of society and contributes in building the society future. Therefore,one of the biggest problems with children in today’s society is youth apathy .Parental participation in schools is very important factor, that schools can depend on to solve this problem by providing parents with an explanation to show the importance of good education ,and encourage them to getting their children excited about learning .

According to ( Bettelheim , 1987 ) ” The essential ingredient in most children success in school is a positive relationship to his parents . “  I believe that Parent’s personal educational background has a significant effect on children’s education, and behavior as members in society when they reach the adolescence.

Finally, no one can ignore the role of parents in schooling outcomes.

“Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment. “
