to organize cultural and scientific conference in November

9th August 2015 – CGAPS Director Dr. Suad Al-AbdulRahman announced today that the center is currently preparing to host several seminars and conferences as part of the 2015/16 cultural season. The activities will begin with the cultural and scientific conference entitled “Foundations of Social Development and the Demands of the Industrial Transformation of the GCC (A Reading into Reality and the Future)”. This conference will be held jointly with the Arab Journal for the Humanities and under the patronage of the President of Kuwait University. The conference will be sponsored by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS). “The title of the conference is a collective one that meets the goals of both CGAPS and the Arab Journal for the Humanities.” The conference will be held from November 16-18 and will contain various sessions including a concluding session where recommendations will be presented from the participants. Participants include a number of specialists and professors from Kuwait and abroad.
