GUST Announces the Second Annual Abdulrahman Al-Rushaid Al-Bader Scholarship

• Al-Bader scholarship is an annual scholarship for first year 2016/2017 GUST students.

• Scholarship will include tuition fees for four year study.

• GUST College of Business Administration students of any nationality are eligible to apply.

Kuwait City – August 1, 2016: Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) announced today the Abdulrahman Al-Rushaid Al-Bader Scholarship for all first-time GUST students thanks to the generosity of Abdulrahman’s family. The scholarship aims to assist any new university student to attend and enjoy their educational experience and focus on exceling in their academic study, without financial strain.

The Abdulrahman Al-Rushaid Al-Bader Scholarship covers the entire four year of study, with a maximum of 120 credits, and will be awarded annually to an incoming Business Administration freshman at GUST.

Students applying for the scholarship can be from any nationality, with a high school GPA of 3.00. The student must also attain a score of 61 in the TOEFL, six on IELTS, or pass the GUST Math and English placement tests to be able to enroll. The selected student cannot be awarded another scholarship during their period of study and must abide by the GUST Code of Conduct at all times.

To maintain the scholarship, the student must maintain a CGPA of 3.00, register for a minimum of 12 credits per semester, and must not withdraw or transfer from GUST.
