The English Language Society-CBE began its first tutoring session
The English Language and Literature Society in the College of Basic Education has been activated by the students of the departement and supervised by: Dr Eman Al-Alttar and Dr Yousef Al-Enzi.
Yesterday they started the first activity which was a tutoring session for the English department students who want to improve their four skills. The session started at 11:00 am till 12:30 pm in the library. The first tutoring sessions entitled “How to be a successful speaker?” was done by Alia Al-Azmi, the coordinator of the English Language and Literature society. She talked about presentation skills and the importance of body language. Nine students attended this session, which is an encouraging beginning.
The society members will continue these sessions to help their colleagues in The English Department, and they will arrange many activities this semester.
