College of Engineering and Petroleum inaugurated the 18th admission exhibition
During the launching of the 12th admission exhibition organized by College of Engineering and
Petroleum at KU from 5-8 of October 2015, KU President Prof. Hussain Al-Ansari, asserted his eagerness to devise a development strategy of the university as to serve students first and foremost as well as providing all the possibilities that contribute to the development of educational and academic process. In addition to selecting an experienced academic body.
He pointed to the importance of communicating with scientific and prestigious academic institutions in Kuwait and abroad moreover, working to improve the level of education at the university.
Al-Ansari stated that this exhibition is held for the eighteenth time consecutively to acquaint senior students from government and private high schools with the scientific Colleges at KU, disciplines and academic programs offered by College of Engineering and Petroleum as to determine their desires and orientations before joining the University.
For his part, Dean of College of Engineering and Petroleum Prof. Hussein Al-Khayyat added that this exhibition shows the admission requirements to College of Engineering and Petroleum and some changes to the conditions regarding academic aptitude tests.
Assistant Dean for students’ Affairs Dr. Khalid Al-Hazza’a indicated that the exhibition is hosting approximately 45 public and private schools according to a timetable organized in collaboration with the Department of School Activities at the Ministry of Education.
