Mrs. Mona AlThuwaini write :Flipped classrooms,Why?
A flipped classroom is an educational approach in which the learning process is focused on student involvement and active learning. it creates a supportive learning environment which gives the instructor a better chance to deal with mixed levels and students difficulties. It also provides interactive learning environment where the educator guides learners as they apply ideas and engage in higher levels of learning with colleagues while the instructor is present. It maximizes classroom interaction (student/student and student /teacher interaction)
This active learning allows students to relate concepts in class where they can ask each other, explain ideas or work on small problems. Then, they can ask instructors for feedback and explanation to enhance student understanding and encourage group intelligence. It also minimizes distractions and changes classroom management because all learners are focused on classroom activities which gives more time to explore the content.
When we, as instructors, work with our student in class, we learn more about their struggles and learning styles. This enables us to create a deeper understanding to help them learn.
