Kuwaiti students in Netherlands should follow rules, law — Embassy

BRUSSELS, Nov 19 (KUNA) — Kuwaiti students in the Netherlands should follow Dutch laws and regulations especially during this period which is highlighted by heightened security in a number of European countries, said a statement by the Kuwaiti Embassy Thursday.

Advisor at the Kuwaiti embassy Ali Al-Thaidi told KUNA that Kuwaiti students should avoid crowded places as much as possible and also stay out of trouble.

He said that there were no reasons to be alarmed, affirming that the Dutch government has taken necessary measures to ensure that the security situation in the country was stable.

The Kuwaiti diplomat said that the embassy was in contact with the students to check on their situation, noting that an available hotline was established to receive any inquires on part of the students.
